Le campus international de l'université de Hanyang se base sur un long savoir-faire quant à l'enseignement des langues qui remonte à l'année 1997, date de son inauguration. Le centre dispose d'un dispositif de technologies modernes adaptées pour l'apprentissage des langues. Le cursus de coréen a été inauguré également en 1997.
