Le mont Gyeyangsan, d'une altitude de 395m, est considéré comme le mont symbolique de la ville d'Incheon. Le nom du mont a changé plusieurs fois en fonction des changements de nom de la région. Ainsi, le mont était autrefois appelé "Sujuak" en tant que mont rattaché à l'administration de Suju durant la dynastie Goryeo, puis "Annamsan" durant la période d'administration de Annam pour se voir appeler finalement le mont "Gyeyangsan" durant la période d'administration de Gyeyang.
